East Riding Hygiene Support are currently recruiting volunteers to support the day to day running of the charity.
The East Riding Hygiene Support was formed in July 2021 after noticing the lack of hygiene products available at the food banks within the East Riding.
The project ensures that there is a safety net to support vulnerable people in society. The charity is trying to limit the prevalence of people not being able to afford the basic hygiene products due to financial difficulties.
Here is how you can get involved:
Storage Assistant- helping to organise, take stock and prepare donations for collection and delivery to partners.
Social Media Officer- running the charities Facebook page and developing and maintaining a website.
Admin Assistant– supporting with the day to day admin needed for receiving and redistributing stock. Assisting with applying for grants to help sustain the charity.
