Be Part of a Powerful Network Fighting Food Insecurity

The East Riding Food Poverty Alliance (ERFPA) brings together charities, community groups, food banks, and social enterprises that are working to reduce food poverty and support local people across the East Riding.

Joining the Alliance is completely free — and it’s open to any organisation that provides food support or helps their community in ways that improve access to good, healthy food.

What Is the East Riding Food Poverty Alliance?

ERFPA is a collaborative network of local groups who believe that no one should go hungry.
Our members include food banks, community pantries, social supermarkets, charities, churches, and grassroots organisations — all working together to share ideas, resources, and support.

Through partnership, we can create long-term solutions to food poverty across our region.

Membership Requirements

To join the Alliance, your organisation must have the following policies in place:
Health & Safety Policy
Safeguarding Policy
Governing Document (such as a constitution or articles of association)
GDPR / Data Protection Policy
Equality & Diversity Policy

These ensure that all members uphold high standards of safety, fairness, and accountability when supporting their communities. ERFPA can support you to put these policies in place.
