ERFPA were delighted to have been shortlisted as a FINALIST in the Together category for BBC Radio Humberside’s inaugural Make a Difference Awards.
They had hundreds of nominations across the eight categories which included some beautiful words about the alliance’s dedication and effort which is obviously highly valued by many.
Some of our members attended the Awards Ceremony on Friday 30th September and had the honour of witnessing so many other organisations doing great things within our communities.
Jayne Nendick, Chair of ERFPA stated “it was a humbling experience to be there and it was overwhelming for us to be one of the finalists and to be a part of such a celebration of community spirit. I would also like to say a huge well done to all of our member food banks that have risen to the challenges over the years and we endeavour to carry on our hard work over the upcoming challenging months.”
