Venison is a healthy red meat option which is high in protein and low in saturated fat. Venison is also one of the most environmentally friendly meats to eat, and the meat comes from animals living in their own habitat. Venison can be used as a substitute in all popular red meat dishes that commonly use beef; lasagne, bolognaise, cottage pie, stews & chilli.

The Country Food Trust are a huge support to foodbanks and community kitchens across the UK. Their main goal as a food poverty charity is to raise funds to provide high-protein nutritious meals to those in need.

Products they provide to foodbanks and kitchens include:

  • Free Range Pheasant Casserole

  • Wild Venison Bolognese
  • Wild Venison pasta Bolognese
