This week members of the Cherry Tree Community Pantry were each provided with a free recipe bag alongside their shopping. The recipe bags were funded by The Hull & East Riding Charitable Trust, and provided the members with the ingredients to make Spaghetti Bolognese for a family of four.
The Hull & East Riding Charitable Trust was established in 1985 with the defined purpose of donating funds to help and support charities, both national and local, provided that direct benefit is forthcoming to people living in Hull or the East Riding of Yorkshire. Funding is now open for applications- the deadline is 20th October 2024.
